Jennings, an award-winning author of children’s books and a creative writing instructor at Harford Community College, as she presents a two-hour mini course on getting started or continuing your writing journey. Whether you want to write poetry, song lyrics, essays, short stories, or novels…this course could change your life. Unleash your imagination with this free course. Each person attending must register prior to the program.
D.A. Jennings is a multi-talented author, poet, storyteller, and teacher of creative writing. Her writing is described as engrossing, engaging, and inspiring, making her a sought-after author and speaker, which includes being a featured presenter for the State of Maryland Literacy Association. Her visionary work has received grants from the Maryland State Arts Council and earned local and international recognition.
A diverse educational background (undergraduate degree in broadcasting - University of Texas at El Paso, a master’s in public human resources administration - Central Michigan University, and graduation from the Army Management Staff College), provides Jennings with a unique writing perspective.
