See it, Sing it: A Beginner’s Guide to Reading Choral Music

Meeting Rooms 1, 2 & 3Want to feel more confident picking up a piece of choral sheet music and reading your part? Join Sandra Files, Artistic Director of the Bel Air Community Chorus for a hands-on workshop covering the basics of sight reading and music theory, including identifying notes and key signatures, decoding time signatures and rhythm and basic solfège sight singing. This program would be great for high school choir members as they return to school, church or community choir members, or anyone who wants to be more confident with singing. Each person attending must register prior to the program.
